Die TapMed Medizintechnik Handels GmbH (hereinafter „TapMed“) takes the protection of personal data very seriously and observes the applicable provisions of data protection law. In following, we would in particular like to inform you about when we save which data within the scope of the usage of our website and how they are used.

1. Collection, Processing and Usage of Personal Data

Personal data are only collected when you voluntarily provide us with such within the scope of your visit to our website.

a) Contact Form

The information provided by you in the scope of a contact form on our website (first and last name, e-mail address and optional phone number) will be processed by TapMed solely for the purpose of answering your questions.

b) Transfer of Personal Data

When we transfer personal data, we do this exclusively to service providers that support us in reaching the objective mentioned above, e.g. IT service provider. These companies are only entitled to use your personal data as so-called contract data processors merely for the purpose of fulfilling their obligations on our behalf and are obligated to observe the applicable data protection regulations.

From time to time, we can be forced to provide your data due to legal provisions or processes. Otherwise, however, no transmission of your personal data will take place to third parties.

The processing of your personal data which has been stored takes place exclusively within countries within the European Economic Area.

2. Usage of Cookies

We use “cookies” in order to make visits to our website attractive and in order to enable the usage of certain functions. These are small text files which are stored on your terminal by means of your browser. It is not possible to identify a person by means of the cookies we use.

After the browser session, the majority of the cookies we use are deleted from your terminal (so-called “session cookies”). In addition to such, we also use so-called “permanent cookies” on our website for web analysis with Google Analytics (see point 3.b)), which remain on your computer after the end of your browser session.

Most browsers are configured so that cookies are automatically accepted. You can, however, prevent cookies from being saved on your computer by means of the corresponding browser preferences, whereby however the range of functions of our website may be impaired.

3. Anonymous Collection and Evaluation of Access Data, Web Analysis

a) General

When visiting our website, information without personal details about the respective access is collected and stored (so-called “log files”). Each log file contains the following information:

operating system,

description of web browser type and version,

the name of your Internet service provider,

date and time of the server request,

referrer-URL, from which you visit us,

visited URLs on our site.

This data is used exclusively for statistical purposes and is not passed on to third parties.

In general, the webserver does not save any IP addresses. Some of these anonymized access data are used for troubleshooting and optimizing the website as well as for counting the number of visitors. Personal data are not processed in the scope thereof.

4. Your Right to Information, Correction and Deletion of Personal Information

Under the applicable privacy policy, you have the right to request information, free of charge, concerning what data has been stored about you and for what purpose this has occurred. Additionally, you can also request the correction, blockage or deletion (where necessary) of such data. To assert the rights above, please contact us.

Our website can contain links to third-party websites. To the degree not clearly recognizable, we inform you herewith that these are third-party websites. We have no influence over the content and/or the design of the sites of external providers. This data protection notice is therefore to such degree not applicable.

6. Modifications of this Data Protection Notice

The continuous development of the Internet and the associated changes of the applicable legal framework that are often connected with such make modifications of this data protection notice necessary from time to time. We will inform you of the respective changes here.
