For more than 30 years, TapMed has been supplying hospitals, private clinics, doctors in private practice an inpatient care facilities throughout Germany with medical products and leading state-of-the-art technology. Since 2019 TapMed started a special product range for Veterinarians.
With more than 50 employees working from our headquarter and as field sales representatives, TapMed has an excellent team for the areas of patient hygiene, patient positioning, occupational safety, plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as for animal health.
Giving the best consulting service – that is what we take pride in. At TapMed, we understand what our customers need and help them choose just the right products, while offering solutions tailored to meet their individual needs. Our TapMed Akademy offers workshops and trainings.

TapMed supplies more than 80 percent of all German hospitals with high-quality medical and technical devices made by international manufacturers. In addition to coverage of the entire German market, TapMed Swiss AG has been founded in 2019 to cover Switzerland with an selected portfolio.
Annual revenues of approx. €13 million are generated by more than 50 employees in internal service functions and field sales representatives.
TapMed has build strong market presence by regularly participating in trade shows and conventions, offering workshops, running comprehensive marketing campaigns and targeted PR activities. TapMed is offering international manufacturers an attractive setting for showcasing their products.

Certification according to DIN ISO 13485
As early as 1997 TapMed achieved quality management certification and placed strong emphasis on the utmost in product safety and quality with its product portfolio. All operational activities are subject to a comprehensive quality assurance system. Ongoing continuing education measures for our staff ensure reliable business processes. This guarantees compliance with the medical device standard ISO 13485.
We are a member of ESTA Healthcare, the most prominent group of suppliers in the medical profession in Europe.
We are a member of BVMed – The German Medical Technology Association, which represents over 240 manufacturers, distributors and suppliers in the medical technology industry, as well as providers of medical aids and homecare.
